Rena Sofer

Rena Sherel, born on December 2nd, 1968, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her roles in daytime television, guest appearances and made for television movies. Sofer was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her portrayal as Lois Cerullo of the soap opera General Hospital. She was Quinn Fuller's role on the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013-2022.





 Early life



 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who is a psychologist as well as Martin Sofer, who is a Orthodox Rabbi.





 Sofer moved with her father as well as her brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. Their family lived in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She was a student at the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer grew up in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. After having graduated from North Bergen High School she was a student at Montclair State College.





 Career



 Television during the daytime



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played with on General Hospital. In 1993, she was managing a band. But her first acclaim role was Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap series Loving (1988-91).
