Aisha Hinds is an American actress best known for playing roles in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. She has demonstrated her versatility since 2003 by delivering impressive performances in TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit, 1-8-7, as well as Under the Dome. As of 2005 she gained attention in the first place for her portrayal of Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the feminist campaigner Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the notice of the general public. Hind was praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 was renewed for a third season from 20th Century Fox Television. In the last few days, Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is scheduled for release by mid-2019. His mother Krishnaraj was an Army scientist who passed away on March 18 2017 and her Mother Vrinda is a domestic worker. Aditya Rai, the elder brother is a marine merchant engineer. The brother of Bachchan wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mother. Her family relocated to Mumbai in the city, where she attended Arya Vidya Mandir. Following her completion of intermediate courses in Jai Hind College, she was accepted into D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she scored a 95% on the H.S.C. exams. As a teenager she spent five years studying classical music and dancing. She was a lover of zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she was awarded the title of Miss World 1994. She was catapulted into modeling's top lane by the title. The model was offered lucrative contracts with Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc., along with a L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. She had a successful acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan became the front in New Bollywood after both films challenged the conventional structure of Bollywood movies at that moment. Bachchan became the queen of Bollywood by her heartbreaking performance as Paro, who is an unfaithful love interest in Devdas (2002) the film that became one of the most well-known Bollywood films. Devdas also happened to be the very first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Chokher (2002), a dramatized version of RabindranathTagore novel Chokher (2003) received much acclaim. In the following year, she was named the first Indian actress to be on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan played the role of Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Her beauty and her fame was then merged for her debut English film. After releasing Provoked: A True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and starred in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star and the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of India's most powerful actors.
