Aisha Hinds is an American actress best known for playing roles in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. She had a successful acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan became the front in New Bollywood after both films challenged the conventional structure of Bollywood movies at that moment. Bachchan became the queen of Bollywood by her heartbreaking performance as Paro, who is an unfaithful love interest in Devdas (2002) the film that became one of the most well-known Bollywood films. Devdas also happened to be the very first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Chokher (2002), a dramatized version of RabindranathTagore novel Chokher (2003) received much acclaim. In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star and the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of India's most powerful actors.
